FVCC and Area Music Teachers Host Workshop Feb. 2
Flathead Valley Community College’s Music Department and the Kalispell Area Music Teachers Association invite student and community musicians to participate in a skills building workshop on Saturday, Feb. 2 in the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus. “Musical Collaboration and Communication” will offer participants the opportunity to gain experience working in piano duets, trios and quartets under the instruction of Julie Gosswiller and special guests soprano Elizabeth Croy and pianists Erin Equall and Cara Robertus.
The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. with a final performance. A one-hour lunch break is built into the schedule. Cost to participate ranges from $15 to $40 per person. For more information about the workshop, contact Ginny Reese at ginnyreese10@gmail.com or 425-248-7112.
