Senior Institute

The Senior Institute at FVCC is for community members 65+. The Senior Institute is a vibrant community of older adults who are excited to learn, build relationships, and explore new ideas. From long-time returning students to those new to FVCC, the Senior Institute is a welcoming community for anyone who is interested in learning new skills and growing their social network. Join us in the upcoming Senior Institute to see what the excitement is about!

Senior Citizen Discount for FVCC Credit Courses

Adults 65 years of age and up who are residents of Flathead and Lincoln counties receive discounted tuition and fees when registering for credit courses. See the current Tuition and Fees Schedule for more information.

Fridays, October 3-November 7, 2025
Classes 1-3:05pm
Beverages and social time before class from 12-1pm
On November 7, a full lunch will be served before class at 11:30am

Mark your calendars for Senior Institute Spring 2026: Fridays, February 13-March 20. Registration begins January 2026.

Registration Steps:

  1. Mail the registration form to:   
    • FVCC, 777 Grandview Drive, Kalispell MT 59901  
    • Email the form to: registrationinfo@fvcc.edu  
    • Drop off the completed form to the Student Center.   
    • Register in person starting at 8am Wednesday, September 10. 
  2. Complete an application for admission to the Senior Institute program if:  
    • You are new to FVCC.  
    • You have not enrolled in a credit course in the past two years.

All registration forms will be processed beginning September 10, 2025 at 8am. However, you may email, mail or drop off your registration items prior to September 10.
