Flathead Valley Community College will graduate its 51st class on Friday, May 17 during the college’s spring commencement ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. on the campus lawn adjacent to the Rebecca Chaney Broussard Center for Nursing and Health Science.
FVCC will recognize 363 students for completing graduation requirements during the 2018–2019 academic year. The college will award 341 associate’s degrees and 43 certificates, with some individual students earning more than one degree and/or certificate.
The keynote speaker will be longtime Flathead Valley businessman, entrepreneur and community philanthropist Paul Wachholz, who began his pursuit of a college education at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
