FVCC Theatre Invites Children to Audition for “Junie B. Jones – The Musical JR.”

Flathead Valley Community College’s Theatre Department invites children enrolled in second through seventh grades to audition for “Junie B. Jones – The Musical JR.” Auditions will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 in the campus theatre located inside the Arts and Technology Building.

“Junie B. Jones – The Musical JR.” is an adaptation of four of Barbara Park’s best-selling books. More than 25 children will be cast in the production, which will run July 18-20 and July 25-27 at FVCC. There is no charge to audition for or participate in the production.

Children may prepare a 30-second monologue or perform the readings available at the audition. No prior acting experience is required. As part of the audition, children will be expected to learn a song excerpt and a short movement piece. The play directors recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing to the audition.
